Advanced BatteRy System and Integration for Generation-4 Solid State CElls

ARISE is a European Union funded project under Horizon Europe Programme on revolutionizing electric vehicle (EV) technology by overcoming the limitations of conventional lithium-ion batteries. While current battery electric vehicles (BEVs) largely rely on liquid electrolyte-based lithium-ion systems, these solutions pose safety risks due to their flammability and electrochemical instability.

Showcasing ARISE at Key Industry Events

ARISE has been actively represented at several major European events that bring together leaders in battery innovation, sustainable mobility, and advanced manufacturing. Over the past months, our team took part in the EARPA FORM Forum, contributed to the SCALE Project Final Conference, joined the Battery Heroes Cluster Event, and engaged with the community at the Battery Innovation Days. These events provided valuable opportunities to present ARISE’s vision, exchange insights with industry stakeholders, and strengthen collaboration within the EU battery ecosystem.

EARPA’S FORM FORUM 2025

EARPA’s FORM Forum 2025 brought together over 260 participants, 35 speakers, and 12 exhibitors to discuss innovation and collaboration in sustainable road mobility. Under the theme “Transitioning Road Mobility: Actions to Safeguard Europe’s Competitive Edge,” the event featured high-level keynote speeches, showcased emerging talent through Young Researcher Elevator Pitches, and fostered networking and future collaborations among key mobility stakeholders.

Horizon Europe 2026-2027 Cluster 5 Final Programme is Published

The European Commission has published the Work Programme for Horizon Europe 2026–2027, Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility. This document provides an early overview of the strategic priorities, expected impacts, and forthcoming funding opportunities that will shape research and innovation actions in the next programming period.
