Summary

ARISE’s main goal is to develop a range of innovative integration approaches for LFP SSB gen-4 cells, from ABEE into a Fiat 500e city car from Stellantis using a cell-to-chassis concept design with expandable modules that will achieve:

  • A gravimetric energy density of the integrated fixed pack excluding contributions by cell chemistry of ~184.6 Wh/kg and including the cell chemistry ~369.2 Wh/kg. (see section 2.1.1, EO3)
  • A volumetric energy density of the integrated pack of ~400 Wh/L. (see section 2.1.1, EO3)
  • A battery system cost considering the functionalities of the EV structure of ~€100/kWh (see section 2.1.1, EO4)
